TeachMe Thursday: Digital Art with Christina

Experience the DCC Makerspace in a new way on TeachMe Thursdays! Every other Thursday, a DCC student or alum will visit the DCC Makerspace to share some of their favorite creative modes of making, with an opportunity for you to join in and learn directly from them! No matter your skill or experience level, stop by between 7-9pm to learn more. Materials will be provided to get you started!
The DCC Makerspace will remain open until midnight for your enjoyment.
About this TeachMe Thursday:
On October 27, Christina Yang (Kappa class) will be creating digital art in the DCC Makerspace: “This TeachMe Thursday is all about making art and getting it out into the world. I’ll be live-drawing in Photoshop and talking about my experiences as an artist on social media (raging at the algorithm included). This is the place for digital art tips and advice about getting your art seen online. Artists of all walks are cordially invited to chill and create! Some iPads will be available, but please bring your own tablets/devices if possible.”
About Christina:
“My name’s Christina, and I’m a senior Psychology and InfoSci double major with minors in Neuroscience and Disability Studies (and no, I’m not able to say that all in one breath). I belong to the Kappa class of DCC, and I was a TA for Mu’s 105 last year! My favorite things to draw are people, flowers, and that little cowlick thing on the heads of many anime characters.”
