Phillips Collection Tour/Curator Talk

DCC goes behind the scenes at one of DC’s most exciting museums! All DCC students are invited to a private tour of the Phillips Collection’s current exhibit, “Bonnard to Vuillard: The Intimate Poetry of Everyday Life,” and talk with the exhibit’s curator, Elsa Smithgall. This is a special opportunity to learn about curation as a creative professional practice designing experiences for a public to encounter culture.

Attendees may travel together on the Stamp Gallery Shuttle, which goes to and from the Phillips Collection for free every Thursday. We will meet at the Stamp Bus slip to catch the shuttle at 5:30pm, and the tour will begin at the Phillips Collection at 6:30pm. The Shuttle returns to campus at 8:30pm.
