Environmental Stewardship Research Lab: Prince Frederick Hall’s Rain Gardens

Learn about the rain gardens, or bioretention cells, at Prince Frederick Hall with UMD’s Stormwater Manager & Maintenance Inspector, Michael Carmichael, and Meg Smolinski from UMD’s Arboretum. Participants will be introduced to the function and basic care of the gardens, including their important role in stormwater management, and the role of stormwater management in urban/suburban environments.
