The lab, located in the basement of Prince Frederick Hall, is a place where DCC students can put their ideas into action. The lab is equipped with a 3D printer, large-format printer, laptop cart, soldering station, virtual reality station, arts and crafts supplies, and more. When the lab is open, students can come work on personal or DCC class projects, take a workshop to learn a new skill, or pursue their personal interests at the intersection of technology and creativity. The lab is a collaborative space where students can explore their curiosity.
Students can also borrow equipment from the lab. Items we have available to borrow from the lab include:
- Cameras and tripods, including a GoPro and Ricoh Theta 360 degree camera
- Arduinos, Raspberry Pis, & MaKey MaKeys
- Laptops and chargers
- Audio recorders
- Lights (for video/photo projects)
- Various cables and cords (HDMI, USB, VGA, etc.)
- Sewing and knitting materials
- Drill bit and driver set
- Board games

- Misc. arts and crafts
- and more….
