In order to make the wood panel backing for the structure, we cut and painted wood in the image of our mascot, Testudo. We began with four 2×8 foot panels that we are going to attach directly onto the metal frame, and then we cut out turtle shell shaped pieces and attached them onto these 2×8 panels.
