DCC Community Yoga: Foundations

Join Jessica for a free, 75-minute Yoga Foundations class every Monday evening during the Spring 2020 semester. 

Yoga is a fantastic way to build strength, balance, and flexibility; manage stress and anxiety; and cultivate mindful intention in your everyday life. On Mondays, the yoga practice will be designed for all levels, from newcomers to experienced practitioners, with a particular emphasis on anatomically correct alignment and foundational postures.

Please:

  • bring a yoga mat, water, and any props (yoga blocks, strap, towel) if you have them
  • dress in a way that will allow you to move comfortably; athletic attire is best.
  • be prepared to remove your socks! Yoga is traditionally practiced in bare feet.

A very limited number of yoga mats are available to borrow; first come, first served!
